Really good Spa Experience
“The highlight of my stay at Metta Resort was undoubtedly the spa services. I indulged in a full-body massage that was heavenly, especially after a long day of hiking to the Tiger's Nest. The attention to detail from the masseuse, who I believe was named Rinchen, left me feeling rejuvenated and incredibly thankful for the treatment.” view full review

I had a decent stay at Bhutan Metta Resort And Spa. The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms, but I did encounter some issues like old facilities and noise from construction. The staff was really nice and helpful, especially with meal requests and early check-out, which enhanced my experience. Overall, it's a solid choice, but there's room for improvement.
The room I stayed in was big, well-appointed, and had a heated bed for my winter stay. However, I noticed some older decor and a moldy smell in other rooms.
The staff was incredibly considerate, accommodating my meal requests and even preparing a packed breakfast for my early departure.
The resort is a bit out of the way, about 4 km from Paro, which gave it a peaceful vibe but made it tricky to get into town.
Dining was good, with a nice variety and the chef was flexible with the menu for local dishes. Breakfast had decent options, though the portions were quite large for just two people.
Facilities included fast WiFi and laundry services, which came in handy, but I did experience some noise from ongoing renovations.

My stay at Bhutan Metta Resort and Spa was quite pleasant overall. The hotel is a bit away from Paro town, but the serene environment made it worthwhile. While the approach to the hotel had poor roads, once I arrived, I found a spacious and comfortable room with great amenities. The food was delightful, although I noted some areas for improvement in toiletries. 😌🌄
The room was spacious and very comfortable with heaters and a large bathroom, but the quality of wood and design could be improved.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping with early check-out and providing a packed breakfast for my early morning trek.
Although the resort is about 4 km from Paro town and has a challenging approach road, it offers a beautiful and tranquil setting surrounded by the mighty Himalayas.
The restaurant had a good menu with plenty of options; the staff were helpful in making substitutions, and I enjoyed the local delicacies they offered.
The resort provides various conveniences like laundry services, paid airport shuttle, and has a charming atmosphere, particularly during the evening dances.

My stay at Bhutan Metta Resort and Spa was pleasant overall. The resort's location provided a lovely view of the mountains, but I found the property somewhat dated and in need of repairs. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist me, which was a highlight of my visit.🌄
The room I stayed in was very spacious, clean, and came with a wonderful view of the mountains. However, it was a bit cold due to the limited heating options, which made for a less comfortable experience. I had to choose between the heater or the electric blanket due to a lack of wall plugs.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with my needs. They even asked what time I'd like breakfast, accommodating me before their regular hours.
The resort is set about 5km from Paro city, which gives it a nice seclusion, but it does require navigating some narrow dirt roads to get there. This might be inconvenient for some, but I found it peaceful.
Dining at the resort was varied and offered good quality meals. I had a themed dinner experience that was enjoyable, though dessert didn't quite meet my expectations.
The resort features facilities like a restaurant and bar, and the ambiance was enhanced with evening entertainment, including a dance performance which I quite enjoyed.

I had a wonderful stay at the Metta Resort in Paro, where the caring staff and beautiful surroundings truly stood out. The food was delicious and the rooms spacious, though I faced an issue with hot water supply. Overall, it was a memorable experience with great service and stunning mountain views.
The rooms were large and comfortable, with good heating options on my second occasion (perfect for the chilly weather!).
The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, always greeting me with smiles and being incredibly helpful in accommodating special requests.
The location is a bit remote, situated about 4km from the main city of Paro surrounded by stunning mountain views, making it a peaceful retreat.
The food was tasty with generous servings; I particularly enjoyed the yummy pork belly and appreciated how the staff checked if I needed anything beyond the buffet offerings.
The resort offered convenient services such as laundry and tour assistance, which made my travel experience smoother.

I had a good stay at Bhutan Metta Resort And Spa. The location is convenient, and the staff is friendly. However, the amenities could use some improvement, especially with the heating in the rooms. Despite this, I loved sitting outside by the bonfire, as it was both authentic and relaxing.
The rooms are beautiful and clean, but they were quite cold. They should heat them before guests check in.
The staff were very courteous and welcoming. They addressed my concerns quickly, which added to my overall comfort.
The resort is about 4 km from Paro city. It has good connectivity with taxis but is a bit far from the main attractions.
I enjoyed the food, especially the Indian dishes. Although there were limited options for vegetarians, the quality was decent.
The resort offers essential amenities like dry cleaning and laundry. However, I felt some areas, especially the rooms, required better heating.
